We used the game Minecraft to artistically reconstruct the site of Palloures in a digital world! It's not just a game but a way to explore, visualize and bring archaeological interpretations into the present.![]()

The reference photos of building you see here were taken at the real-life reconstructed Chalcolithic village of Lempa-Lakkoi. The structures found at Lempa are thought to be quite similar to those found at Palloures and thus perfect to draw inspiration from when creating our own digital reconstructions. Note the characteristic roundhouses made of stone, wood and earth as well as the great number of ceramics and interior central hearths.![]()
